Rosângela Maria Sousa Tenório
Rosangela is an Associate Professor at the University of Western Australia, and has been there since January 2018. Previous to her appointment in Australia, she has worked at the University of Nottingham China, University of Auckland New Zealand, Federal University of Bahia and as a practicing architect and research consultant on environmental design. Rosangela Tenorio is an architectural graduate of the Federal University of Pernambuco (Recife - UFPE 1994) and has concluded her PhD in Architecture (Environmental Science) at the University of Queensland, Australia (Brisbane - UQ, 2002). Her research interests include self-sufficient design of schools/green schools, creativity and interdisciplinary design education, low carbon bio-based materials in warming climates, integration of traditional construction methods and performance into sustainable urban settlements, Architecture of Timor Leste and Asian-Latin American cultural studies.
