Patricia Fabian de Araujo Diniz

Graduada em Ciências Biológicas (licenciatura plena) pela Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais-UFMG (2000), mestre e doutora em Fisiologia Vegetal pela Universidade Federal de Lavras-UFLA (2007 e 2012). Possui experiência nas áreas de Metabolismo do Carbono e do Nitrogênio, aplicação prática de fungos micorrizicos arbusculares, bactérias fixadoras de nitrogênio molecular, cultura da seringueira, estresse por déficit hidrico, além de grande experiência na área educacional, ministrando as disciplinas de ciências (2002 a 2005) e biologia (2006 até o momento). Participou da orientação de alunos do programa BIC-Junior UFLA (bolsistas de iniciação científica- junior) direcionado aos alunos do ensino médio das escolas públicas. Participou de estágio voluntário na Fundação Ezequiel Dias de Minas Gerais nos laboratórios de biotecnologia vegetal e celular. Atualmente atua como docente do Instituto Federal da Paraíba (disciplinas: biologia I, II III para o ensino médio e Anatomia Vegetal, fisiologia Vegetal e Biologia e diversidade de plantas para o curso superior de Ciências Biológicas, atuando ainda na orientação em projetos de extensão e pesquisa envolvendo inoculação de fungos micorrizicos arbusculares em plantas de interesse agrícola, em parceria com o campus Areia/UFPB e Instituto Agronômico de Pernambuco e, também, avaliação de contaminação de águas subterrâneas por necrochorume. Atualmente atua exclusivamente com obtenção de óleo essencial de plantas de interesse para a indústria farmacológica, em especial óleos obtidos de Dysphania ambrosioides. Graduated in Biological Sciences (full degree) from the Federal University of Minas Gerais-UFMG (2000), Master and Doctor in Plant Physiology from the Federal University of Lavras-UFLA (2007 and 2012). He has experience in the areas of Carbon and Nitrogen Metabolism, practical application of arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi, molecular nitrogen-fixing bacteria, rubber tree culture, water deficit stress, as well as extensive experience in the educational area, teaching science subjects (2002 to 2005) and biology (2006 to date). Participated in the guidance of students of the BIC-Junior UFLA program (scientific initiation scholarship-junior) aimed at high school students in public schools. Participated in a volunteer internship at the Ezequiel Dias Foundation of Minas Gerais in the plant and cell biotechnology laboratories. He currently works as a professor at the Federal Institute of Paraíba (disciplines: biology I, II III for high school and Vegetal Anatomy, Vegetal Physiology and Biology and Plant Diversity for the Biological Sciences course, also acting in the orientation of extension projects and research involving the inoculation of arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi in plants of agricultural interest, in partnership with the Areia/UFPB campus and the Instituto Agronômico de Pernambuco, as well as the assessment of groundwater contamination by necroslurry. interest for the pharmaceutical industry, especially oils obtained from Dysphania ambrosioides.
