Bacharel em Ciências Biológicas pela Universidade Federal de Uberlândia (UFU)-MG, Mestre e Doutora em Genética e Bioquímica pelo Instituto de Genética e Bioquímica da Universidade Federal de Uberlândia. Realizou doutorado sanduíche em Salzburg University - Austria, atuando no Departamento de Biologia Molecular, com foco em expressão de proteínas recombinantes. Atuou como Pos-Doc no Laboratório de Imunopatologia do Instituto Butantan, São Paulo-SP, com foco no mecanismo de molecular e inflamatório em les#333;es locais no envenenamento ofídico; foi Pos Doc no UVA Medical Center / SOM Research Core, pela University of Virginia - EUA, com foco principal em técnicas de microscopia e cultura celular. Atuou como Research Assistant no Department of Structural and Computational Biology - University of Vienna - Austria, com foco principal na caracterização estrutural de proteínas e gerenciamento de laboratório de pesquisa. Atuou como Analista de Controle de Qualidade Biológico do Instituto Butantan - SP, com foco testes de potencia viral de vacinas em modelo celular. Atualmente, integra o grupo do Centro de Desenvolvimento Cientifico do Instituto Butantan, atuando no projeto CeVIVAS para a plataforma de imuno vigilância de vacinas virais, investigando resposta humoral e celular de vacinas e infecções virais.Tem experiência na área de Bioquímica, Biologia Molecular e Biologia celular, com ênfase em cultura celular (primária e linhagens), citometria de fluxo, sinalização celular, inflamação, expressão genica por RT-PCR, expressão proteica por western blotting e proteômica, ensaios in vivo, phage-display. Além de experiência de trabalho em ambiente BPF, BPL e cultura celular em área NB2 e NB3.

She performed a sandwich doctorate at Salzburg University-Austria, working in the Department of Molecular Biology, focusing on expression of recombinant proteins.In the past years she worked as a Post-Doc at the Laboratory of Immunopathology at Instituto Butantan, São Paulo-SP, focusing on the molecular mechanism of local injury in snake envenomation; she was Pos Doc at the University of Virginia-USA, at the UVA Medical Center / SOM Research Core, with a primary focus on electron and confocal microscopy techniques. She worked as Research Assistant at the Department of Structural and Computational Biology-University of Vienna, with focus on protein structural characterization and research laboratory management. She worked as a Analyst of Biological Quality Control at Instituto Butantan-SP, with a main focus on cell culture and viral potency tests in vaccines.She has expertise in the area of Biochemistry, Molecular Biology and Cell Biology, with emphasis on cell culture (primary and linage), flow cytometry, cell signaling, inflammation, evaluation of gene and protein expression by RT-PCR, western blotting, in vitro and in vivo assays, phage-display. In addition she has experience in a GMP, GLP environment worker and cell culture in an NB2 and NB3 area.
