Talita Caroline Miranda

Graduated in Civil Engineering at Federal University of Rio Grande (2006), master's degree at Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (2008) and PhD in Civil Engineering - Geotechnical emphasis - at Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (2014). She has experience in Geotechnical and Geomechanics, ever worked in: geotechnical mapping, GIS tools, drainage of roads, geomatics, applied geostatistics, embankment on soft soils, risk assessment, tunnel, slope stability projects and worked as an Technical Advice on underground excavations. Is currently a researcher at the Technology Group and Petroleum Engineering (Civil Engineering Department of the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro), P & D Geopressões, particularly in the determination of in situ stresses, stability analysis of oil wells in order to reach the Operating window for drilling and development of software for real-time monitoring of drilling aimed stability. In addition was treasurer of the Brazilian Committee of Rock Mechanics (2013-2014) and Executive Secretary of the ABMS (Brazilian Association of Soil Mechanics and Geotechnical Engineering ) state of Rio de Janeiro . Currently she is a teacher at ITPAC PORTO NACIONAL LTDA - Tocantins Institute President Antonio Carlos Port Ltda and Coordinator of COPPEX ( Coordenation of the Graduate, Research and Extension ) of the ITPAC - Porto.
Possui graduação em Engenharia Civil pela Universidade Federal do Rio Grande (2006), mestrado em Engenharia pela Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul (2008) e doutorado em Engenharia Civil pela Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro (2013). Atualmente é professora adjunta da Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais. Tem experiência na área de Engenharia Civil, com ênfase em Mecânicas dos Solos e Mecânica das Rochas.
