Marielli Prestes Bittencourt

Doutoranda do Programa de Pós-Graduação em Ciência Política da UFRGS. Mestra em Ciência Política pelo Programa de Pós-Graduação em Ciência Política da UFRGS e bacharela em Relações Internacionais pela mesma instituição. É pesquisadora do Núcleo de Pesquisa em Cultura Política, Estado e Relações Internacionais (CESPRI), do Núcleo de Pesquisa em América Latina (NUPESAL), do Grupo de Trabalho de Comportamento e Instituições Políticas do Centro de Estudos Internacionais sobre Governo (CEGOV) e membro da equipe da World Values Survey Brasil. Durante a graduação, foi bolsista iniciação científica por 3 anos, fomentadas pelo CNPq (2014-2016) e pela FAPERGS (2016-2017). Além disso, compõe a equipe dos projetos de extensão UFRGSMUNDI e CESPRI Debate, tendo também participado de diversos eventos na área de Ciência Política, no Brasil e no exterior. Possui experiência de pesquisa nas áreas de ciência política, cultura política, relações internacionais da América Latina, socialização política e comportamento político. Possui também experiência na aplicação de pesquisa de tipo survey, tendo participado da coleta de dados da Sétima Onda do WVS no Brasil, e também na realização de grupos focais.

I'm currently a Ph.D. candidate in Political Science from the Political Culture research line of Graduate Program in Political Science at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul. I have a master's degree in Political Science and also a bachelor's degree in International Relations from UFRGS. I'm a researcher at the Center for Research on Political Culture, State and International Relations (CESPRI), at the Research Center for Latin America (NUPESAL), at the Working Group on Behavior and Political Institutions of the Center for International Studies on Government (CEGOV) and member of the World Values Survey Brazil team. During graduation, I was a scientific initiation fellow for 3 years, funded by CNPq (2014-2016) and FAPERGS (2016-2017). I'm also part of the UFRGSMUNDI and CESPRI Debate extension projects team, having also participated in several events in the Political Science area, in Brazil and abroad. I have research experience in the areas of political science, political culture, international relations in Latin America, political socialization, and political behavior. I also have experience in survey applications, since I have participated in the data collection of the seventh wave of WVS, and I have experience in conduction focus groups.
