Atualmente é doutoranda do Programa de Pós-Graduação em Ciências Florestais pela Universidade Estadual do Centro-Oeste (UNICENTRO), bolsista CAPES, atuando na área de concentração em Manejo Sustentável de Recursos Florestais com area de atuação em Silvicultura - Melhoramento Florestal a qual participa do grupo de Genética e Melhoramento Florestal da Univerisidade Estadual do Centro-Oeste.Vinculada em projetos relacionados à cultura de tecidos e isolamento de DNA genônico, desenvolveu atividade como bolsista PROBIC (FAPERGS) pertencente ao grupo de desenvolvimento de Germoplasma Núcleo de Biotecnologia e Melhoramento Vegetal da Universidade Federal de Santa Maria (UFSM), atuando principalmente nos seguintes temas: genética e melhoramento florestal, silvicultura, conservação de espécies nativas, conservação da biodiversidade e biotecnologia vegetal.
