Possui graduação em Ciências Biológicas (2016), Mestrado (2016) e Doutorado (2022) pelo Programa de Pós-graduação em Doenças Tropicais da Universidade Federal do Pará (UFPA). Durante a graduação foi bolsista do Programa Institucional de Bolsas de Extensão (PIBEX). No mestrado, desenvolveu pesquisa no projeto "PESQUISA DO VÍRUS LINFOTRÓPICO-T HUMANO EM ESTUDANTES DE UNIVERSIDADE PÚBLICA DA REGIÃO METROPOLITANA DE BELÉM, PARÁ". E no Doutorado "DESCRIÇÃO EPIDEMIOLÓGICA E CARACTERIZAÇÃO MOLECULAR DA TRANSMISSÃO INTRAFAMILIAR DO HTLV-1 EM REGIÃO ENDÊMICA DO
ESTADO DO PARÁ, BRASIL".
Desde 2014 integra o grupo de pesquisadores do Laboratório de Biologia Molecular e Celular (LBMC) do Núcleo de Medicina Tropical da UFPA, investigando a dinâmica evolutiva e epidemiológica do vírus linfotrópico-T humano (HTLV), com desenvolvimento de vários projetos. Atualmente é revisora científica da Research, Society and Development. Já atuou na Gestão de projetos no Instituto Iniciativa Amazônia (INIAMA).
É Docente associada do SIEPA, ministrando disciplinas da área da saúde para os cursos de Enfermagem, Farmácia e Segurança do Trabalho.
Tem experiência com vigilância epidemiológica, microbiologia, patologia das Doenças Tropicais e biologia molecular.
She holds a bachelor's degree in biological sciences, from the Federal University of Pará (UFPA), finshed in 2016. During her graduation, she received a scholarship from the Institutional Extension Scholarship Program (PIBEX).
She holds a master's degree in Tropical Diseases from the Postgraduate Program in Tropical Diseases at the Nucleus of Tropical Medicine (NMT) / UFPA, with a dissertation entitled: "RESEARCH OF HUMAN TYMPHOTROPIC VIRUS IN STUDENTS OF THE PUBLIC UNIVERSITY OF THE METROPOLITAN REGION OF BELÉM, PARÁ." finished in 2018.
She is currently a doctoral student in the Postgraduate Program in Tropical Diseases at NMT / UFPA (2018-2022), developing a project to evaluate epidemiological and molecular factors associated with intra-family transmission of HTLV-1 in the metropolitan region of Belém-PA, with thesis defense expected for the first quarter of 2022.
She has experience in laboratory and molecular biology techniques in the detection of Sexually Transmitted Infections (STIs). Conducts research and extension in the area: detection, epidemiology and prevention of HTLV in the population of the metropolitan region of Belém-PA, in the Laboratory of Cellular and Molecular Biology of NMT / UFPA.
