Manuel Rodriguez Gonzalez, graduated agronomist at the Central University Martha Abreu of Villa (UCLV), Cuba in 2004. He was part of the special plan (student of high academic achievement) in the fourth and fifth year of the race. Getting the Title Graduated with Honors. Later he began working at the University of Sancti Spiritus José Martí Pérez where he currently works as a professor of Systems and Irrigation and Drainage Plant Production at the Faculty of Agricultural Sciences at that institution. During the first four years he served as Director of the Teaching Unit, later he was released from office in order to prioritize their improvement. Since 2005 to date is the head of the Agronomy career in this power. In 2008 he completed his Master's degree in Sustainable Tropical Agriculture at the University Carlos Rafael Rodriguez de Cienfuegos (CETAS group), Cuba. In 2014 he graduated Doctor of Technical Sciences Agricultural during curricular Ph.D. Sustainable Agriculture rectory by Martha Abreu Central University of Villa (UCLV). He has performed outstanding work in different national and international projects and has participated as a speaker at numerous scientific events. It maintains relations of work and collaborates with researchers from different institutions and universities abroad and Cuba. In the year 2015 alcazó category of full professor in higher education.Her research is closely linked to the agricultural food production, also promotes the rational use of water, soil and energy in agriculture, one of the sectors with the greatest negative impact on the environment, from the claims of propose: managing cropping systems, determine design parameters and irrigation management, evaluate quality indicators of irrigation and water erosion and determine the technical and economic feasibility of the solutions, from a real social perspective. Author / co-author of several articles in scientific journals and permanent member of the evaluation panel and master's thesis work of its faculty diplomas. He has tutored more than 20 students, based on research, master's thesis, diploma thesis and course work. He leads a group of student research at their faculty. He has also developed several scientific articles related to the cultivation of onions, surface irrigation and sustainable agriculture in the conditions of Cuba. He has taught several courses Undergraduate and Postgraduate related to your research topic.
Manuel Rodríguez González, se graduó de Ingeniero Agrónomo en la Universidad Central Martha Abreu de las Villa (UCLV), Cuba en el año 2004. Formó parte del plan especial (alumno de alto aprovechamiento académico) en el cuarto y quinto año de la carrera. Obteniendo el Título Graduado con Honores. Posteriormente comenzó a trabajar en la Universidad de Sancti Spíritus José Martí Pérez donde labora actualmente como profesor de Sistemas Producción Vegetal y Riego y Drenaje en la Facultad de Ciencias Agropecuarias de dicha Institución. Durante los primeros cuatro cursos se desempeñó como Director de la Unidad Docente, posteriormente fue liberada del cargo con el objetivo de priorizar su superación. Desde el año 2005 hasta la fecha es el jefe de la Carrera Agronomía en dicha facultad. En el año 2008 concluyó su grado de Master en Agricultura Tropical Sostenible en la Universidad Carlos Rafael Rodríguez de Cienfuegos (grupo CETAS ), Cuba. En 2014 se graduó de Doctor en Ciencias Técnicas Agropecuaria en el curso de doctorado curricular de Agricultura Sostenible rectorado por la Universidad Central Martha Abreu de las Villa (UCLV). Ha desempeñado una destacada labor en diferentes proyectos nacionales e internacionales y ha participado como ponente en numerosos eventos científicos. Mantiene relaciones de trabajos y colabora con investigadores de diferentes instituciones y universidades del extranjero y Cuba. En el aó 2015 alcazó la categoría de profesor Titular en la educación superior.Su tema de investigación se vincula estrechamente con la producción de alimentos agrícolas, igualmente propicia la utilización racional del agua, el suelo y la energía en el sector agrícola, uno de los sectores con mayor incidencia negativa sobre el medioambiente, a partir de las pretensiones de proponer: manejar los sistemas de cultivo, determinar parámetros de diseño y manejo del agua de riego, evaluar indicadores de calidad del riego y erosión hídrica y determinar la factibilidad técnico económica de las soluciones, desde una perspectiva social auténtica. Autor/coautor de varios artículos en revistas científicas y miembro permanente del tribunal de evaluación de tesis de maestría y trabajos de diplomas de su facultad. Ha tutorado a más de 20 estudiantes, referido a trabajos de investigación, tesis de maestría, tesis de diploma y trabajos de curso. Dirige un grupo de investigación estudiantil en su facultad. También ha desarrollado varios artículos de divulgación científica relacionada con el cultivo de la cebolla, riego superficial y la agricultura sostenible en las condiciones de Cuba. Ha impartido varios cursos de Pregrado y Postgrados relacionados con su tema de investigación.
