Adjunct Professor at the Federal University of São Francisco Valley, teaching the disciplines of Environmental Pollution, Waste Treatment and Basic Sanitation. Vice Coordinator of the Postgraduate Program in Intellectual Property and Technology Transfer for Innovation (PROFNIT). Coordinates the Thematic Center for Recuperation of Degraded Areas and the Environmental Engineering Laboratory. Tutor of the Tutorial Education Program Environmental Sanitation (MEC). Research lines are Biological treatments and reuse of solid and liquid wastes from agricultural and agro-industrial origins for waste valorization; Reuse of biosolids, sanitary sewage and graywater; water quality of water resources in the Submédio São Francisco; appropriate socio-environmental technologies for coexistence in the semi-arid region. Leader of the Research Group Environmental Sanitation in Rural and Urban Environments in the São Francisco Valley (CNPq), also integrating the Group of Environmental Processes and Technologies - UFPE (CNPq).
