Leonardo da Silva Chaves

I hold a Bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences, a Master's degree in Botany, and a PhD in Ethnobiology and Nature Conservation from the Federal Rural University of Pernambuco. Currently, I work as an Assistant Professor II at the Catholic University of Pernambuco, as well as a Technical-Cultural Advisor at the Museum of Archeology and Natural Sciences at UNICAP. Additionally, I serve as the Supervisor of the Research and Innovation Division at the Archeology and Natural History Research Center at the same institution. My research interests are focused on the relationship between humans and the environment, with a focus on conservation and sustainability.

Sou graduado em Licenciatura em Ciências Biológicas, Mestre em Botânica e Doutor em Etnobiologia e Conservação da natureza pela Universidade Federal Rural de Pernambuco. Atualmente, atuo como Professor Assistente II na Universidade Católica de Pernambuco e Assessor Técnico-Cultural no Museu de Arqueologia e Ciências Naturais da UNICAP, além de Supervisor da Divisão de Pesquisa e Inovação do Núcleo de Pesquisa em Arqueologia e História Natural na mesma instituição. Meus interesses de pesquisa estão voltados para a relação entre seres humanos e o meio ambiente, com foco em conservação e sustentabilidade.
