Antonio Márcio Teodoro Cordeiro Silva

Graduated in Biomedicine from the Pontifical Catholic University of Goiás (1999), master's degree in Genetics from the Federal University of Goiás (2003) and doctorate in Cellular and Molecular Biology from the Federal University of Goiás (2009). He is currently an adjunct professor at the Pontifical Catholic University of Goiás (PUC Goiás), in undergraduate studies, in the Medicine Course (Cytology and Genetics), and in Graduate Studies, where he teaches and guides students, in the Master in Environmental Sciences and Health (MCAS). He is a member of the Research Ethics Committee (CEP) of the Pontifical Catholic University of Goiás (PUC Goiás). He is an Associate Editor of the Revista Estudos - Vida e Saúde (REVS, ISSN 1983-781X) of the Pontifical Catholic University of Goiás. At PUC Goiás, he develops research in the areas of genetics, molecular biology and epidemiology, with an emphasis on molecular, human and medical genetics , acting mainly on the following themes: oncology, molecular biology, biostatistics (meta-analysis) and epidemiology.

Possui graduação em Biomedicina pela Pontifícia Universidade Católica de Goiás (1999), mestrado em Genética pela Universidade Federal de Goiás (2003) e doutorado em Biologia Celular e Molecular pela Universidade Federal de Goiás (2009). Atualmente, é professor adjunto da Pontifícia Universidade Católica de Goiás (PUC Goiás), na graduação, no Curso de Medicina (Citologia e Genética), e na Pós-Graduação, onde leciona e orienta alunos, no Mestrado em Ciências Ambientais e Saúde (MCAS). É membro do Comitê de Ética em Pesquisa (CEP) da Pontifícia Universidade Católica de Goiás (PUC Goiás). É Editor Associado da Revista Estudos - Vida e Saúde (REVS, ISSN 1983-781X) da Pontifícia Universidade Católica de Goiás. Na PUC Goiás, desenvolve pesquisas nas áreas de genética, biologia molecular e epidemiologia, com ênfase em genética molecular, humana e médica, atuando principalmente nos seguintes temas: oncologia, biologia molecular, bioestatística (meta-análise) e epidemiologia.
