Julia Tainá Monticelli Rocha

Doutoranda pelo Programa de Pós-Graduação em História da Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio Grande do Sul (PUCRS) desenvolve pesquisas em torno dos movimentos de mulheres da Frente de Libertação de Moçambique (FRELIMO). Mestra em História pelo mesmo Programa de Pós Graduação desenvolveu a dissertação intitulada Do vento da emancipação à força motriz da Revolução: A mulher nos discursos de Samora Moisés Machel (Moçambique) (1973-1980). Formada no Curso Superior de História, licenciatura, pela PUCRS em 2015 e em História, bacharelado, na UFRGS em 2021. Dedica suas pesquisas na área de História da África e História das mulheres.

Ph.D. Student in History from the Postgraduate Program in History of the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio Grande do Sul (PUCRS) in the research line Politics, Intellectuals and Media developing research around women's organizations in Mozambique and Angola in the 1970s and 1980s. Master in History by the same Graduate Program in History. Guided by Professor Doctor Marçal de Menezes Paredes developing the research entitled "From the wind of emancipation" to the "driving force of the Revolution": The woman in the speeches of Samora Moisés Machel (Mozambique) (1973-1980). Graduated in the Higher History Course, graduated from PUCRS in 2015 and studying History, bachelor history, at UFRGS since 2017. She dedicates her research in the area of ​​African history and women's history.
