Marco Antonio de Freitas Clementino

Graduated in Biological Sciences from the Federal University of Ceará (2014). During his undergraduate degree he did an exchange at the University of Western Australia (Perth, WA) where he studied forensic biology, pharmacology and molecular biology. He holds a doctorate in Toxicology and Cancer Biology from the University of Kentucky (2019). He worked as a postdoctoral researcher at Markey Cancer Center and professor at CellBio-London Training Academy (2020). Accepted a fellowship as Young Talent Researcher at the Biomedicine Center (NUBIMED) at the Federal University of Ceará (UFC) developing tests for the molecular diagnosis of pathogens during 2021. He is currently working at the Laboratory of Molecular Toxinology (LTM), the Laboratory of Infectious Diseases (LDI) and with the Graduate Program in Medical Microbiology (PPGMM) as a Visiting Professor at the Universidade Federal do Ceará.

Possui graduação em Ciências Biológicas pela Universidade Federal do Ceará (2014). Durante a graduação fez intercâmbio na University of Western Australia (Perth, WA) onde estudou biologia forense, farmacologia e biologia molecular. Possui doutorado em Toxicologia e Biologia do Câncer pela University of Kentucky (2019). Trabalhou como pesquisador de pós-doutorado no Markey Cancer Center e professor na CellBio-London Training Academy (2020). Foi bolsista de Jovem Talento Pesquisador do Núcleo de Biomedicina (NUBIMED) da Universidade Federal do Ceará (UFC) desenvolvendo testes para diagnóstico molecular de patógenos durante o ano de 2021. Atualmente trabalha no Laboratório de Toxinologia Molecular (LTM), no Laboratório de Infectologia (LDI) e com o Programa de Pós-Graduação em Microbiologia Médica (PPGMM) como Professor Visitante da Universidade Federal do Ceará.
