Alexandre Grezzi de Miranda Schmidt

He holds a degree in Physics from the Federal University of Paraná (1996), a Master's degree in Physics from the Institute of Theoretical Physics of UNESP (1998) and a PhD in Physics from the Institute of Theoretical Physics of UNESP (2002). For 3 years (2002-2005) he was postdoc in the Physics department at UFPR. He is full professor at the Fluminense Federal University. He has experience in Physics, with emphasis on General Theory of Particles and Fields, Quantum Mechanics, Systems with position-dependent mass, exact solutions of Schrodinger, Pauli, Klein-Gordon and Dirac equations on curved surfaces; and exact solutions of the Lippmann-Schwinger equation in N spatial dimensions and in non-Euclidean spaces.

É professor titular da Universidade Federal Fluminense. Possui graduação em Física pela Universidade Federal do Paraná (1996), mestrado em Física pelo Instituto de Física Teórica da UNESP (1998) e doutorado em Física pelo Instituto de Física Teórica da UNESP (2002). Durante 3 anos (2002-2005) foi pos-doc no departamento de Física da UFPR. Tem experiência na área de Física, com ênfase em Teoria Geral de Partículas e Campos, Mecânica Quântica, Sistemas com massa dependente da posição, soluções exatas das equações de Schrodinger, Pauli, Klein-Gordon e Dirac em superfícies curvas; e soluções exatas da equação de Lippmann--Schwinger em N dimensões espaciais e em espaços não-euclidianos.
