Valentina Tridello

Architect, urbanist, and researcher with experience in the construction of urban resilience strategies in Latin-American context, and recent activity in north-east Brazil. Director of the consultancy company Aiyê specializes in climate change risk analysis and climate adaptation measures. More than five years of international working experience in developing research projects of spatial justice, urban metabolism, climate adaptation, urban regeneration, strategic spatial planning, and architectural design, respectively in Chile, Brazil, Mozambique, Italy, The Netherlands, and Spain. Assistant lecturer of the urbanism master course at IUAV University of Venice (2017) where she also collaborated in the organization of several international workshops and events. She obtained the European Post-master joint degree in Urbanism (EMU) from four different European universities such as TU Delft, KU Leuven, UPC Barcelona, and IUAV Venice (2019). She studied architecture at IUAV University of Venice in collaboration with the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile (2016). Fluent in Portuguese, English, Spanish, Italian, and basic knowledge of French.

Arquiteta, urbanista e pesquisadora com experiência na construção de estratégias de resiliência urbana e avaliação de vulnerabilidade e risco climático no nordeste brasileiro. Diretora da empresa de consultoria Aiyê, especializada em análise do risco climático e identificação de medidads de adaptação à mudança do clima. Trabalhou em diversos contextos internacionais desenvolvendo projetos de inclusão sócio espacial, metabolismo urbano, adaptação climática, regeneração urbana, planejamento estratégico metropolitano e desenho arquitetônico, respetivamente no Chile, Brasil, Moçambique, Itália, Holanda e Espanha. Foi professora assistente do curso de urbanismo da Universidade IUAV de Veneza onde também participou na organização de diversos eventos e workshops internacionais. Possui pós Mestrado Europeu em Urbanismo (EMU) conjuntamente pelas universidades IUAV de Veneza, TU Delft, KU Leuven e UPC Barcelona (2019). Possui formação de arquiteta pelas universidades IUAV de Veneza e Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Chile PUC (2016). Fala fluentemente português, inglês, espanhol, italiano e francês básico.
