Roberto Birch Gonçalves

Bachelor's degree in Electronic Engineering from the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio Grande do Sul (1979), a Master's degree in Administration from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (1998), and a Ph.D. in Administration from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (2009). Currently holds the position of Associate Professor II at the University of Caxias do Sul, serving as the director of the Institute of Economic and Social Research (IPES), Professor in the Postgraduate Program in Production Engineering (PPGEP-UCS), and Professor in the Postgraduate Program in Administration at UCS PPGA. Also teaches in the International Trade course. Engaged in research in the following areas: International Business, Innovation, Strategy.

Possui Graduação em Engenharia Eletrônica pela Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio Grande do Sul (1979), Mestrado em Administração pela Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul (1998), e Doutorado em Administração pela Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul (2009). Atualmente é Dr. Adjunto II da Universidade de Caxias do Sul, atuando como diretor do Instituto de pesquisas econômicas e sociais (IPES), Professor do programa de pós graduação em engenharia de produção (PPGEP-UCS). Professor do programa de pós graduação em administração da UCS PPGA. Professor do curso de comércio internacional. Atuando na área de pesquisa seguintes temas: Negócios Internacionais, Inovação, Estratégia.
