Luciana Iost Vinhas

Degree in Languages-Portuguese and English (2005) from the Catholic University of Pelotas and Master's in Languages (2009) from the same institution. She holds a PhD in Languages from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (2014), where she defended the thesis entitled "Discourse, body and language: processes of subjectivation in female prison". She is an adjunct professor of Portuguese at the Department of Classical and Vernacular Languages #8203;#8203;(DECLAVE) at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS). She is a permanent professor in the Postgraduate Program in Languages at UFRGS and also in the Postgraduate Program in Languages at UFPel. She has experience in the field of Linguistics, working with Materialistic Discourse Analysis, as developed by Michel Pêcheux. Her research involves the themes of the body, prison and politics/politics. She coordinated the extension project for the remission of sentence through the practice of reading at the Pelotas Regional Prison and, based on the reflections of the extension project and research on penitentiary issues, wrote the book "The impossible of existence: prison, women and class ", published by Pedro João Press (2021). Currently, she is the assistant coordinator of the extension project "Palavramundo (education in contexts of deprivation of liberty)", carried out at APAC-POA. She is the leader of the Ordinary of the Sense and Resistance research group (OuSaR / CNPq). She is a member of the Brazilian Association of Linguistics (ABRALIN) and of the Discourse Analysis Work Group of the National Association of Graduate Studies and Research in Languages and Linguistics (ANPOLL). She was an effective teacher in the Language Courses at the following institutions: Federal University of Fronteira Sul-Campus Realeza (2010 to 2014), Federal University of Rio Grande (2014 to 2016) and Federal University of Pelotas (2016 to 2021). Possui graduação em Letras-Português e Inglês (2005) pela Universidade Católica de Pelotas e Mestrado em Letras (2009) pela mesma instituição. É Doutora em Letras pela Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul (2014). É professora adjunta de Língua Portuguesa no Departamento de Letras Clássicas e Vernáculas (DECLAVE) da Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS). Atualmente, é coordenadora do Setor de português do DECLAVE. É docente permanente no Programa de Pós-graduação em Letras da UFRGS e, também, no Programa de Pós-graduação em Letras da UFPel. Tem experiência na área de Linguística, trabalhando com a Análise Materialista de Discurso, conforme desenvolvida por Michel Pêcheux. Suas pesquisas problematizam a relação entre discurso e corpo, mulheres e prisão. Coordenou projeto de extensão de remição de pena pela prática da leitura no Presídio Regional de Pelotas e, com base nas reflexões do projeto de extensão e da pesquisa em torno das questões penitenciárias, escreveu o livro "O impossível da existência: prisão, mulheres e classe", publicado pela Editora Pedro João (2021). Atualmente, é coordenadora adjunta do projeto de extensão "Palavramundo (educação em contextos de privação de liberdade)", realizado no Instituto Penal Feminino de Porto Alegre, e coordena o subprojeto Língua Portuguesa do Programa Residência Pedagógica da UFRGS. É líder do grupo de pesquisa Ordinário do Sentido e Resistência - OuSaR (UFRGS/CNPq) e é membra dos grupos de pesquisa Mulheres em Discurso (UNICAMP/CNPq) e Grupo de Estudos em Teoria da Reprodução Social (UFES/CNPq). É membra da Associação Brasileira de Linguística (ABRALIN), do GT de Análise do Discurso da Associação Nacional de Pós-Graduação e Pesquisa em Letras e Linguística (ANPOLL), da International Gender and Language Association (IGALA) e da DiscourseNet Association. Foi docente efetiva nos Cursos de Letras das IES Universidade Federal da Fronteira Sul - Campus Realeza (2010 a 2014), Universidade Federal do Rio Grande (2014 a 2016) e Universidade Federal de Pelotas (2016 a 2021).
