He holds a degree in Medicine from the Faculty of Medicine of the Universidade Estadual Paulista "Julio de Mesquita Filho" - UNESP (1985), title of "DOTTORE IN MEDICINA I CHIRURGIA" from the UNIVERSITA DEGLI STUDI DI PADOVA (ITALY), PhD in Plastic Surgery from the Federal University of São Paulo (1998). He has experience in the field of Medicine / Plastic Surgery, with an emphasis on Reconstruction in Breast, Head and Neck, Thorax and Soft Tissue Cancer. "Fellowship" in Oncological and Reconstructive Surgery at the INSTITUT GUSTAVE ROUSSY - France (1992/1995), Diplôme Universitaire de Carcinologie Clinique by the UNIVERSITE DE PARIS (XI - SUD)France. He is currently an assistant physician, scientific coordinator and Chief and Regent of the medical residency in Plastic Surgery at the Plastic Surgery Service of the State Public Servant Hospital (IAMSPE) and Coordinator of the Microsurgery Sector of the Discipline of Plastic Surgery at the FEDERAL UNIVERSITY OF SÃO PAULO ( UNIFESP-EPM), Titular Member of the Brazilian Society of Plastic Surgery, Titular Member of the Brazilian Society of Mastology. Co-advisor of the Graduate Program at the Federal University of São Paulo - Area of Concentration in Plastic Surgery.

Atualmente é médico assistente concursado, coordenador científico e Chefe e Regente da residência médica em Cirurgia Plástica do Serviço de Cirurgia Plástica do Hospital do Servidor Público Estadual (IAMSPE) e Coordenador do Setor de Microcirurgia da Disciplina de Cirurgia Plástica da UNIVERSIDADE FEDERAL DE SÃO PAULO (UNIFESP-EPM), Membro Titular da Sociedade Brasileira de Cirurgia Plástica, Membro Titular da Sociedade Brasileira de Mastologia. Coorientador do Programa de Pós-Graduação da Universidade Federal de São Paulo - Área de Concentração em Cirurgia Plástica.
