Leslie Charlotte Peggy Laquieze

I am a Pharmacist highly interested by the research in Dermatology. Indeed, after a Thesis in Pharmacy (2007, University of Montpellier) and a Master in Research on the Physiology, Pharmacology and Biodisponibility of the skin (2007, University, Lyon I), I obtained a PhD in Mechanic and Engineering (2011, Ecole des Mines de Saint Etienne). My thesis was on the Biomechanical characterization of reconstructed skin: experimentation and modelization . I have learned several approaches in the field of the development of topical products and their evaluation by various methods: formulation, microbiology, innocuousness, efficacy and sensorial evaluation. I have reinforced this background during my PhD by working with skin equivalents (3D dermis, epidermis, skin equivalents). I have also acquired a strong experience in biomechanics of soft tissues through the biomechanical characterization of natural skin (from donors of several age and pathology), explants or skin equivalents.I'm currently doing a post-doctorate at INMETRO to set up skin equivalents for toxicological purpose as alternative methods to animal testing.(Fellowship BJT-Ciência sem Fronteiras). In parallel in doing a MBA in Business Management at the Fundação Getulio Vargas.
master's at Physiology, Pharmacology and biodisponibility of t from Université Claude Bernarde Lyon 1 (2007), doctorate at Sciences, Ingénieurie et santé from Ecole Nationale Superieure des Mines de Saint-Etienne (2011) and doctorate at Pharmacy from Université Montpellier 1 (2008). Has experience in Biomedical Engineering, focusing on Bioengineering, acting on the following subjects: dinamic identation, human skin, skin, viscoelasticity and friction noise.
