Wolf Christian Luz

Graduated as a Master in Biological Sciences in 1989 and obtained his doctor´s degree in 1994 (Dr. rer. nat.) at the Eberhard Karls Universität Tübingen, Germany. He is currently a professor at the Institute of Tropical Pathology and Public Health at the Federal University of Goiás. Experienced in parasitology, with emphasis in medical entomology and biological vector control, he is acting mainly in the following areas: invertebrate pathology, biodiversity, characterization, formulation and application of entomopathogenic fungi.

Possui Graduação (1989) em Ciências Biológicas e Doutorado (1994) em Ciências Naturais (Dr. rer. nat.) pela Universidade Everardo Carlos de Tubinga (Eberhard Karls Universität Tübingen), Alemanha. Atualmente é professor titular do Instituto de Patologia Tropical e Saúde Pública da Universidade Federal de Goiás. Tem experiência na área de parasitologia, com ênfase em entomologia médica e controle biológico de vetores, atuando principalmente nos seguintes temas: patologia de invertebrados, biodiversidade, caracterização, formulação e aplicação de fungos entomopatogênicos.
