Camila Seibel Gehrke

Graduated in Electrical Engineering from the Regional University of the Northwest of the State of Rio Grande do Sul (2008), master's and PhD from the Federal University of Campina Grande (2010 and 2014). She is currently an adjunct professor at the Federal University of Paraíba (UFPB), in addition, she is the founder, leader and researcher of the Smart Grid Group (SG2), as well as, founder of the FABLAB UFPB laboratory. Since graduation, she has worked in R&D projects, coordinating strategic projects at ANEEL and with industry, such as Reenergisa and Huawei. In 2019, she received an honorable mention in the ?International Project of the Year? category at the Solar & Storage Live Awards 2019, for the ?Solar Powered Storage and Photovoltaic System? project. She has been a member of the IEEE since 2009, contributing technically to research work and publishing articles, as well as, being a volunteer since 2014. In 2020 received an innovation award for the idealization of a competition. Currently acting as president of the IAS/PELS/PES professional chapter of the northeast section. Since 2022, she has been a Huawei Brazil ambassador. Has experience in Electrical Engineering, with emphasis on Industrial Electronics, Electronic Systems and Controls. It currently operates in the following lines of Smart Grids: Energy Resources (BESS, Renewable Sources, Electric Mobility, Microgrids) Energy Quality and Management, Optimization.

Possui graduação em Engenharia Elétrica pela Universidade Regional do Noroeste do Estado do Rio Grande do Sul (2008), mestrado e doutorado pela Universidade Federal de Campina Grande (2010 e 2014). Atualmente é professora adjunta na Universidade Federal da Paraíba (UFPB), além disso, é fundadora, líder e pesquisadora do grupo de pesquisa Smart Grid Group (SG2), além de fundadora do laboratório FABLAB UFPB. Desde a graduação tem atuado em projetos de P&D, sendo coordenadora de projetos estratégicos da ANEEL e outros, com empresas como Reenergisa e Huawei. Em 2019, recebeu menção honrosa na categoria ?International Project of the Year? na conferência Solar & Storage Live Awards 2019, pelo projeto ?Solar Powered Storage and Photovoltaic System?. É membro do IEEE desde 2009, contribuindo tecnicamente com trabalhos de pesquisa e publicação de artigos, assim como é voluntária desde 2014. Em 2020 recebeu premio de inovação pela criação de uma competição. Atualmente, como presidente do capítulo profissional IAS/PELS/PES da seção nordeste BR. Desde 2022 é embaixadora Huawei Brasil. Tem experiência na área de Engenharia Elétrica, com ênfase em Eletrônica Industrial, Sistemas e Controles Eletrônicos. Atualmente atua nas seguintes linhas de Smart Grids: Recursos Energéticos (Armazenamento, Fontes Renováveis, Mobilidade Elétrica, Microrredes) Qualidade e gerenciamento de energia, Otimização.
