Aimé Peláiz Barranco

Aimé Peláiz Barranco obtained a PhD in Physics from the University of Havana, Cuba, in 2001. Graduated in Bachelor in Physics (1995) and Master in Physical Sciences (1996), both from the University of Havana, Cuba. She is currently Full Professor of the Physics Faculty, University of Havana. She has published over 100 articles in professional journals and over 200 papers in national and international events. Between 1996 and 2017 she has participated in 25 research projects. She works in the Condensed Matter Physics and Materials Science, with an emphasis on dielectric, ferroelectric, piezoelectric, antiferroelectric, multiferroic and ac behavior. She has experience in issues related to the preparation, characterization and phenomenology of ceramics, composites and thin films, specifically, ferroelectric, antiferroelectric and multiferroic systems.
