L. R. Solon é doutor em História da Ciência (PUC-SP/CAPES, 2016) e atua como médico clínico homeopata em Campo Grande (MS) desde 1985. No mestrado em saúde coletiva (UFMS, 2003) Solon desenvolveu um estudo de caso que abordou o tema da subjetividade durante a terapêutica homeopática daquele sujeito. Como doutor em História da Ciência, Solon investigou o papel da semiótica médica na virada do século XIX da futura Alemanha e a relação da semiótica com o estatuto da subjetividade. Atualmente, Solon desenvolve o tema de uma epistemologia individualizadora e qualitativa da semiologia médica capaz de transpor o empirismo diagnóstico e tecnicista que predomina na medicina - paradigma que se mostrou deteriorante da relação médico-paciente desde a segunda metade do século XIX.
LR Solon holds a Ph.D. in History of Science (PUC-SP / CAPES, 2016) and has been working as a clinical practitioner and homeopath in Campo Grande (MS) since 1985. Solon has developed a case study addressed the subjectivity's theme during the homeopathic therapy of that subject. As a doctor of science history, Solon investigated the role of medical semiotics at the turn of the nineteenth century in the future Germany and the relation of semiotics to the status of subjectivity. Nowadays, Solon develops the theme of an individualizing and qualitative epistemology of medical semiology capable of transposing the diagnostic and technical empiricism that predominates in medicine - a inhospitable paradigm that has been deteriorating in the doctor-patient relationship since the second half of the nineteenth century.
