Bruna Scandolara Magnus

Graduated in Sanitary and Environmental Engineering (2015), Masters (2017) and Doctorate (2019) in Environmental Engineering from the Federal University of Santa Catarina (UFSC). She is currently an Associate Professor at the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at the Centre for Technology and Geosciences (CTG) of the Federal University of Pernambuco (UFPE). Permanent member of the Graduate Programme in Civil Engineering (PPGEC-UFPE), researcher at the Laboratory of Environmental Sanitation (LSA) and the Laboratory of Molecular Biology and Environmental Technology (LABIOTA). Visiting researcher at the Ruhr University of Bochum, Germany. She is involved in the co-supervision of Masters and Doctoral students in the field of Environmental Engineering, as well as in the supervision of scientific initiation fellows and final theses at the UFPE. She has experience in the field of sanitary and environmental engineering, with a focus on the treatment of supply water, wastewater and water reuse.

Possui Graduação em Engenharia Sanitária e Ambiental (2015), Mestrado (2017) e Doutorado (2019) em Engenharia Ambiental pela Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina (UFSC). Atualmente é professora Adjunta do Departamento de Engenharia Civil e Ambiental, do Centro de Tecnologia e Geociências (CTG) da Universidade Federal de Pernambuco (UFPE). Membro permanente do Programa de Pós-Graduação em Engenharia Civil (PPGEC-UFPE), pesquisadora no Laboratório de Saneamento Ambiental (LSA) e Laboratório de Biologia Molecular e Tecnologia Ambiental (LABIOTA). Pesquisadora visitante em estágio pós-doutoral na Ruhr Universität Bochum, Alemanha. Atua na coorientação de alunos de mestrado e doutorado na área de Tecnologia Ambiental, além de orientar bolsistas de iniciação científica e trabalhos de conclusão de curso da UFPE. Tem experiência na área de Engenharia Sanitária e Ambiental, com ênfase em Tratamento de Águas de Abastecimento, Residuárias e Reuso de Água.
