Possui graduação em Licenciatura Plena em ciências /Matemática pela Universidade do Estado da Bahia (1995), Mestrado em Educação e Pesquisa - Université du Quebec à Chicoutimi (2003), doutorado em Difusão do Conhecimento pela Universidade Federal da Bahia e instituições associadas (UFBA-UNEB-IFBA-UEFS-LNCC-SENAI CIMATEC). Atualmente Professora assistente da Universidade do Estado da Bahia e Professora da Educação Básica. Tem experiência na área de Educação, com ênfase em Formação de Professores de Matemática Produção cientifica voltada para a função da extensão universitária numa perspectiva do encontro com a educação básica. Defende uma formação docente em que a tríade ensino, pesquisa e extensão é vista na perspectiva constitucional e metodológica o que possibilita a centralidade da extensão e a inserção curricular dessa função.
She has a degree in Science/Mathematics from the State University of Bahia (1995), Master in Education and Research - Université du Quebec à Chicoutimi (2003), PhD in Knowledge Diffusion from the Federal University of Bahia and associated institutions (UFBA-UNEB-IFBA-UEFS-LNCC-SENAI CIMATEC). Currently an Assistant Professor at the State University of Bahia and Teacher of Basic Education. She has experience in the area of Education, with emphasis on Mathematics Teacher Education. Scientific production focused on the function of university extension in a perspective of meeting with basic education. Defends a teacher training in which the triad teaching, research and extension is seen in the constitutional and methodological perspective, which enables the centrality of extension and the curricular insertion of this function.
