Jaison Daniel Cucarian Hurtado
He has a degree in Physiotherapy from the Universidad del Rosario-Colombia (2012) and a master's degree in Rehabilitation Sciences from Universidade Federal de Ciências da Saúde de Porto Alegre-Brazil (2017). He is currently an associate professor at the Universidad del Rosario in the School of Medicine and Health Sciences. He has particularly interest in the regenerative rehabilitation and his current studies seek to clarify the potential effects of regenerative and reparative therapeutic approaches in musculoskeletal and neurodegenerative conditions; mainly the study of therapeutic effects of stem cell-based therapy, physical exercise and photobiomodulation in motor and cognitive performance. His research experience includes experimental research in animal and cellular models. In the course of 7 years, he has been working together with well-renowned neuroscience scientists and leading professionals in the area of neuroplasticity, neural adaptation and rehabilitation mostly in traumatic and neurodegenerative diseases in the central nervous system.
