Diogo de Oliveira Machado

Diogo Machado is a Scientia PhD Candidate at the Faculty of Law, UNSW Sydney. He researches the interconnections among cultural heritage, anti-money laundering and counter-terrorist financing transnational law. He holds an MSc (Criminology) in Transnational Crimes, Justice and Security from the University of Glasgow, United Kingdom, and an LLB from the University of Brasília, Brazil. He is a Chevening Alumni.Prior to joining UNSW Law, he worked as the Deputy International Advisor to the Minister of Justice and Public Security in Brazil, and he represented the country in international meetings under the G20, OECD, Interpol, FATF, the European Judicial Network, the Organisation of American States, Mercosur, the International Association of Anti-corruption Authorities, among others.

Doutorando em Direito Internacional do Patrimônio Cultural na Universidade de New South Wales, Sydney. Mestre em Crimes Transnacionais, Justiça e Segurança pela Universidade de Glasgow. Especialista em Gestão Pública. Bacharel em Direito pela Universidade de Brasília. Tem experiência na área de direito público, com ênfase nos seguintes temas: direito internacional, direito penal, criminologia, cooperação jurídica internacional, lavagem de dinheiro no mercado de arte.
