Bianca Chioca

Graduated in Chemical Engineering from the University of Ribeirão Preto (2018) and Pedagogical Graduation in Chemistry from FAVENI (2023). Last semester of PhD student in Biotechnology at the University of Ribeirão Preto - UNAERP, whose research project is entitled "Production of non-natural isoquinoline alkaloids in Psychotria ipecac". It was a Undergraduate Research Scientist (FAPESP funding) between 2015 and 2017; besides that had a Research Collaboration at the Max Planck Institute of Ecological Chemistry, Department of Biosynthesis of Natural Products in Jena, Germany, on the period from September 2022 to February 2023. Has experience in Chemistry, with emphasis on Chemistry of Natural Products, working mainly on the following subjects: chromatographic methods; analytical chemistry - qualitative and quantitative; natural product chemistry; biomolecules; secondary metabolites; alkaloids; biosynthesis; metabolic engineering; biochemistry; fabric culture; molecular biology techniques. Possui graduação em Engenharia Química pela Universidade de Ribeirão Preto (2018) e Licenciatura em Química pela FAVENI (2023). Aluna do último semestre Doutorado Direto em Biotecnologia na Universidade de Ribeirão Preto - UNAERP, cujo projeto de pesquisa se intitula "Produção de alcaloides isoquinolínicos não-naturais em Psychotria ipecacuanha ". Foi bolsista FAPESP de Iniciação Científica entre 2015 e 2017; realizou Doutorado Sanduíche com bolsa CAPES-PDSE de Setembro de 2022 a Fevereiro de 2023, no qual trabalhou no Instituto Max Planck de Química Ecológica, Departamento de Biossíntese de Produtos Naturais em Jena, Alemanha. Tem experiência na área de Química, com ênfase em Química dos Produtos Naturais, atuando principalmente nos seguintes temas: métodos cromatográficos; química analítica - qualitativa e quantitativa; química de produtos naturais; biomoléculas; metabólitos secundários; alcaloides; biossíntese; engenharia metabólica; bioquímica; cultura de tecidos; técnicas de biologia molecular.
