Aline Cristina Martins
I am postdoctoral fellow at University of Michigan, Deparment of Ecology and Evolutionary Biology. I have experience in research with focus on ecology, conservation, systematics and evolution demonstraded by about 25 papers and book chapters published in international journals and relevant books. My present research integrates ecological field data, phylogenetic methods and biogeography to investigate fundamental questions in evolution. Bees and bee pollinated plants are my objects of study. In the last five years. I have worked in many Brazilian and German Institutions, as the above cited plus INPA (Amazon, Brazil) and University of Würzburg. Biologist (UFPR, Brazil), Master in Entomology (USP, Brazil) and Doctor in Entomology (UFPR) with sandwich period at LMU Munich (Germany). Mother of Francisco and Amelie.
graduation at Bacharelado e Licenciatura em Ciências Biológicas from Universidade Federal do Paraná (2006), master's at Zoology from Universidade de São Paulo (2009) and doctorate at Zoology from Universidade Federal do Paraná (2014). Has experience in Ecology, acting on the following subjects: abelhas, pollinators, ecologia da polinização, neotropical and evolução.
