Camila Moraes de Oliveira

Assistente Social formada pela Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro (2014), mestre pelo departamento de Serviço Social da Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio de Janeiro, com passagem em nível de doutoramento pelo departamento de Psicologia da Universidade Federal Fluminense, porém, atualmente doutoranda de Serviço Social na PUC Rio. Sou membro da Comissão de Mulheres da União de Negros pela Igualdade (UNEGRO/RJ) e Vice Presidenta da organização estatal vinculada à Secretaria Municipal de Assistência Social e Direitos Humanos (SMASDH), que é o Conselho Municipal dos Direitos da Mulher do Rio de Janeiro, órgão que tem por finalidade discutir e encaminhar políticas públicas, sob a ótica de gênero, destinadas a garantir a igualdade de oportunidades e direitos entre homens e mulheres, também me encontro na Diretoria da Igualdade Racial da OAB-RJ. Também atuei como coordenadora durante três anos da Pastoral Afro-brasileira, que visa o diálogo cultural e ecumênico com valores afro-brasileiros. Criando iniciativas contra o Racismo, a discriminação racial, exclusão do negro, assumindo posturas em defesa do seu patrimônio cultural.

Graduated in Social Work from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ) since 2014. Master's degree from the Department of Social Work of the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro (PUC-Rio). Research on the racial issue, with the Afro-Brazilian Pastoral as an object of study, inspired by three of the coordination of one of the nuclei. The methodology of action of the PAB as the Afro-Brazilian Pastoral is known, is carried out through dialogues, which empowers the Negro, also informing the local community about the importance of Afro culture in society, holding meetings with themes related to the black population. The PAB also holds exhibitions, forum, seminars and cultural tours, as well as having a blog, which addresses various issues concerning black, its culture and racism still existing in contemporary society. Currently I continue to participate in the committee of coordinators of the nuclei of Rio de Janeiro, as collaborator and researcher of the same. I am currently looking for research on black feminism and I am part of articulations with the same theme and I work in the women's committee of UNEGRO.
