After receiving my Ph.D. in Brazil in 2008, I have had post-doctoral positions both in Brazil and the United States. I am currently working at DuPont as a plant pathology researcher. Previously I was at Embrapa Soja working on the project: "Monitoring sensitivity alterations in Brazil s soybean pathogens populations to benzimidazoles and strobilurin groups fungicides. Before that I was at University of Illinois where I was doing post-doctoral research. I finished a project characterizing Sclerotinia sclerotiorum isolates from Brazil and the US, then started working in the Clough Laboratory with molecular identification of stink bug gut content and Virus-induced gene silencing (VIGS) to analyze Rpp1 gene in the response to Phakopsora pachyrhizi in soybean.
