Luanne Cardoso Mendes

Graduated in Biomedical Engineering at Aix-Marseille Université - France (2016) and at the Federal University of Uberlândia (2017), and MSc in Sciences at the Federal University of Uberlândia (2019). Her master's degree was related to the evaluation of biomaterials for the development of vaginal molds used in vaginoplasty surgeries. Currently, she is a PhD student in Biomedical Engineering, at the Federal University of Uberlândia and at the Université de Lorraine in Metz - France, where she is doing her PhD in cotutelle. Her PhD is based on the development and validation of a serious game that trains upper limbs for individuals with Parkinson's disease, and also in the evaluation of motor symptoms of these individuals through the collected signals. She is a member of the research group Center for Innovation and Assessment of Technologies in Health (NIATS), at the Universidade Federal de Uberlândia, by CNPQ. She has experience in the area of Biomedical Engineering, Clinical Engineering, Biomaterials and Rehabilitation Engineering.
