Holds a bachelor's degree from the University of Brasília, postgraduate degree in Medical Anatomy and Elements of Human Anatomy, Specialization in Human Anatomy and Acupuncture, Master's Degree in Health Sciences from the University of Brasilia and PhD in Health Sciences from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte. He is currently Adjunct Professor at the University of Brasília where he teaches content of Morfofuncional disciplines 1, 2, 3 and Topographic Anatomy in Medicine. Coordinates the disciplines Morfofuncional 3 and topographic Anatomy. He has extensive experience in Human Anatomy in the various courses in the Health Area, administering the disciplines Human Anatomy, Human Neuroanatomy, Human Anatomy Applied to Nursing, Musculoskeletal Anatomy, Medical Anatomy, Medical Neuroanatomy, Anatomy Applied to Image. Research mainly on the following topics: Acupuncture, Use of Biological Models as a Teaching Tool in the Teaching of Human Anatomy and Neuroanatomy, Preservation and Conservation of Biological Tissues with Use of Curing Polymers (Plastination) and Integrative and Complementary Health Practices. Coordinates the Plastination Laboratory of the University of Brasília. In 2012, he was a visiting professor at the Department of Neurosciences and the Laboratory of Plastination at the University of Toledo - College of Medicine, Ohio / USA. He is the author of the book Anatomy and Clinical Kinésiology of the Apparatus of the Movement. Effective Member of the Brazilian Society of Anatomy and Regular Member of ISP (International Society for Plastination).
Possui graduação pela Universidade de Brasília, Estágio de pós-graduação em Anatomia Médica e Elementos de Anatomia Humana, Especialização em Anatomia Humana e Acupuntura, Mestrado em Ciências da Saúde pela Universidade de Brasília e Doutorado em Ciências da Saúde pela Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Norte. Atualmente é professor Associado da Universidade de Brasília onde ministra conteúdo das disciplinas Morfofuncional 1, 2, 3 e Anatomia da Criança no curso de Medicina. Tem Tem vasta experiência em Anatomia Humana nos diversos cursos da Área de Saúde onde ministrou as disciplinas Anatomia Humana, Neuroanatomia Humana, Anatomia da Criança, Anatomia Humana Aplicada à Enfermagem, Anatomia Músculo-esquelética, Anatomia Médica, Neuroanatomia Médica, Anatomia Aplicada à Imagem. Pesquisa principalmente nos seguintes temas: Acupuntura, Utilização de Modelos Biológicos como Ferramenta Didática no Ensino da Anatomia e Neuroanatomia Humana, Morfologia Aplicada à Pelve e Períneo, Preservação e Conservação de Tecidos Biológicos com Utilização de Polímeros Curáveis (Plastinação) e Práticas Integrativas e Complementares de Saúde. Coordena o Laboratório de Plastinação da Universiddade de Brasília. Esteve como professor visitante no Departament of Neurosciences and the Laboratory of Plastination at the University of Toledo - College of Medicine, Ohio/USA. É autor do livro Anatomia e Cinésiologia Clínica do Aparelho do Movimento. Sócio Efetivo da Sociedade Brasileira de Anatomia e Membro Regular da ISP (International Society for Plastination).
