Vander Vieira de Resende

Vander Vieira de Resende doutorou-se em Letras, Estudos Literários, pela UFMG, em 2020. Foi um dos vencedores do 1º Prêmio ?Construindo a Igualdade de Gênero?, promovido pela então Secretaria Especial de Políticas para Mulheres (SPM) da Presidência da República, na categoria Estudante de Ensino Superior. Concluiu a graduação em Letras pela Universidade Federal de São João Del-Rei (2006) e mestrado em Teoria Literaria e Critica da Cultura pela Universidade Federal de São João Del-Rei (2009), quando atuava principalmente nos seguintes temas: literatura pós-colonial, gênero, identidade cultural, Literatura Comparada e contos africanos. A partir de 2016, iniciou o Doutorado no Programa de Estudos Literários, da Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais (UFMG), na Área de Concentração em Literatura Brasileira, na Linha de Pesquisa Literatura, História e Memória Cultural. Desde 2005, leciona como professor da rede pública estadual do Estado de Minas Gerais.

Vander Vieira de Resende received his doctorate in Literature, Literary Studies, from UFMG, in 2020. He was one of the winners of the 1st Prize ?Building Gender Equality?, promoted by the then Special Secretariat of Policies for Women (SPM) of the Presidency of the Republic , in the Higher Education Student category. He completed his undergraduate studies in Languages at the Federal University of São João Del-Rei (2006) and a master's degree in Literary Theory of Culture's Criticism from the Federal University of São João Del-Rei (2009), when he worked mainly on the following themes: post-colonial literature , gender, cultural identity, Comparative Literature and African tales. As of 2016, he started his PhD in the Literary Studies Program, at the Federal University of Minas Gerais (UFMG), in the Area of Concentration in Brazilian Literature, in the Literature, History and Cultural Memory Research Line. Since 2005, he has been teaching as a public school teacher in the state of Minas Gerais.
