Alexandre Luis Ritter holds a degree in Physical Education from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (1987) and master's (2003) and doctorate (2009) in Human Movement Sciences by the same university. He is a professor at the Municipal Department of Sport, Leisure and Youth of the Porto Alegre City Hall. He is also coordinator of the Ethics Committee of the Municipal Department of Health of Porto Alegre. His production and performance is especially concentrated in the following areas: human body posture, and physical exercise in health promotion, predominantly in the elderly.
Possui graduação em Educação Física pela Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul (1987) e mestrado (2003) e doutorado (2009) em Ciências do Movimento Humano por esta mesma Universidade. É professor da Secretaria Municipal de Esporte, Lazer e Juventude da Prefeitura de Porto Alegre. É também coordenador do Comitê de Ética em Pesquisa da Secretaria Municipal de Saúde de Porto Alegre. Sua produção e atuação está especialmente concentrada nas seguintes áreas: postura corporal humana e exercício físico na promoção da saúde, preponderantemente na terceira idade.
