Mauricio Frota Saraiva

Graduado em Química(2005) pela Universidade Federal de Juiz de Fora-UFJF(Bacharel e Licenciatura). Doutor em Química (2010) pela UFJF, com estágio Doutoral no Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique-CNRS; Institut de Chimie des Substances Naturelles-ICSN -França 2008-2009). Desde 2010 atua como Professor na Universidade Federal de Itajubá, onde implementou e coordena o Laboratório de Síntese de Moléculas Bioativas-LASIMBIO. Atuou como coordenador institucional da Rede Mineira de Química (2011-2013). É membro do grupo de pesquisa GSOQM- Grupo de Síntese Orgânica e Química Medicinal. Atualmente é membro do colegiado de Pós-Graduação em Química (PPGMQ-MG). Orienta alunos de graduação e Pós-graduação em atividades de pesquisa relacionados a síntese orgânica, tendo como foco principal o desenvolvimento de novas moléculas bioativas, com potencial aplicação para o tratamento do câncer, tuberculose e doença de Chagas. ***CONTATO***: mauriciosaraiva@unifei.edu.br

Graduated in Chemistry (2005) from the Federal University of Juiz de Fora-UFJF (Bachelor and Licenciatura). Ph.D. in Chemistry (2010) by UFJF, with an internship at the National Center for Scientific Research-CNRS; Institute of Chemistry of Natural Substances - ICSN - France 2008-2009). Since 2010 he has been a professor at the Federal University of Itajubá, where he implements and coordinates the Laboratory for the Synthesis of Bioactive Molecules-LASIMBIO. He served as institutional coordinator of the Rede Mineira de Química (2011-2013). He is a member of the research group GSOQM - Group of Organic Synthesis and Medicinal Chemistry. He is currently an alternate member of the Graduate Program in Chemistry (PPGMQ-MG).
