Jorge Osvaldo Alves de Lima Torres

He holds a Master's degree in electrical engineering and telecommunications from the University of Brasília (2010), a degree in Computer Science from Universidade Católica de Goiás (1999). Graduation in Mathematics from the Federal University of Goiás (1995). Currently, he is a Specialist in Information Technology and Telecommunications in Oi, in telecommunications projects and prepaid systems, coordinating a team of 20 people, working in the areas of artificial intelligence, multidimensional database and distributed applications. He is a Adjunct Professor at the Institute of Higher Education of Brasília - IESB, with a Research Line in Disciplines of Distributed Systems and Concurrent Programming, Software Engineering, Administration and Network Management, Infrastructure and Structured Cabling Project Management, IT Governance, Mobile Communications and application security. Also acting in projects in the area of ​​information technology and computer security in terms of decentralized execution with the General Public Defender of the Union - DPGU, together with the University of Brasília / CDT - Center for Support to Technological Development. He has fifteen years of experience in the areas of computer science, with emphasis on Methodology and Computer Techniques, architecture and software engineering, operating systems, engineering and network infrastructure, with an emphasis on database and systems analysis, working mainly in the following topics: Software Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, Artificial Neural Networks, Database and Distributed Systems, Business Intelligence, Grid, Cluster, PMBOK, PMI, ITIL, COBIT and j2me. Possui Mestrado em engenharia elétrica e telecomunicações pela Universidade de Brasília (2010), Graduação em Ciência da Computação pela Universidade Católica de Goiás (1999). Graduação em Matemática pela Universidade Federal de Goiás (1995). Atualmente é Especialista em Tecnologia da Informação e Telecomunicações na Oi, em projetos de telecomunicações e sistemas pré-pago, atuando nas áreas de inteligência artificial, banco de dados e aplicações distribuídas. É professor Adjunto pelo Instituto de Ensino Superior de Brasília - IESB, com linha de Pesquisa nas disciplinas de sistemas distribuídos, sistemas operacionais, programação concorrente, administração e gerencia de redes, gerenciamento de projetos, governança de TI, comunicações móveis. Tem trinta anos de experiência nas áreas de ciência da computação, com ênfase em Metodologia e Técnicas da Computação, arquitetura e engenharia software, sistemas operacionais, engenharia e infraestrutura de redes, com ênfase em banco de dados e análise de sistemas, atuando principalmente nos seguintes temas relacionados a operações de TI: Engenharia de Softwares, Inteligência Artificial, Banco de Dados e Sistemas Distribuídos, Business Intelligence, Grid, Cluster, PMBOK, PMI, ITIL, COBIT e j2me. possui Certificado ITIL Fundation.
