Doctor in Social Policies and Citizenship from the Catholic University of Salvador (2019), Master in Strategic Administration from the University Salvador (2006), Specialist in Higher Education Organization and Processes from the Intermunicipal Union of Higher Courses of the State of Bahia (2000), Specialist in School Management from the Federal University of Bahia (2011) and Graduated in Pedagogy from the Federal University of Bahia (1998). Former director of the Municipal School Cônego Orlando Teles. Former representative of the Permanent Forum of Managers of Municipal Schools of Salvador. Former president of the Municipal School Food Council of Salvador (COMAE). Former advisor to the Fund for Maintenance and Development of Basic Education and Valorization of Basic Education Professionals (FUNDEB). Currently Director of the Darcy Ribeiro Municipal School, Professor at the Faculty of Philosophy, Sciences and Letters of Candeias - FAC, and researcher at the Management and Evaluation Group for Social Policies and Projects at the Catholic University of Salvador - GAPPS / UCSAL. He works in the areas of Social and Educational Policies, Teaching and Learning, Management and Evaluation of Education, Training of school leaders and School Council.

Pós-doutorando pela Universidade Salvador - UNIFACS; Doutor em Políticas Sociais e Cidadania pela Universidade Católica do Salvador - UCSAL; Mestre em Administração pela Universidade Salvador - UNIFACS; Especialista em Direitos Humanos na Escola, pela Faculdade de Ciências da Bahia - FACIBA; Especialista em Gestão Escolar pela Universidade Federal da Bahia - UFBA; Especialista em Organização e Processos do Ensino Superior pela União Intermunicipal de Cursos Superiores do Estado da Bahia e; Graduado em Pedagogia pela UFBA. Atualmente é membro do Conselho Municipal de Educação de Salvador, Diretor da Escola Municipal Darcy Ribeiro e Pesquisador do Núcleo de Estudos Organizacionais e Tecnologias de Gestão (NEOTEG)/UNIFACS. Atua nas áreas de Políticas Sociais e Educacionais; Ensino e aprendizagem; Gestão e Avaliação da Educação e; Formação de dirigentes escolares e Conselho Escolar.
