PhD in Psychology (not currently working in the field). Researcher and independent scholar interested in projects on the following topics: the human condition, society, food, social representations, social memory, communication, social critical theories, ideology and ethics. Within this broader framework of themes, I am currently focusing on the concept of hope and its expressions, in the context of modernity crisis. My work in progress, titled "Music and Hope", consists of building visual narratives and essays approaching how musicians experience their own stories and analyzing the connections with family, community, society and hope. Volunteer collaborator professor and lecturer at major undergraduate and graduate schools, as well as private institutions. Member of the Research Group Ideology, Communication and Social Representations, certified by Governmental Agency CNPq, registration available at http://dgp.cnpq.br/dgp/espelhogrupo/9479077623952541; since 1990, became vice leader in 2016. Graduação em Psicologia pela Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio Grande do Sul (1986), especialização em Marketing e Propaganda pela New York University (1990), estudos em Semiótica pela The New School for Social Research (1989-90), mestrado em Psicologia pela Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio Grande do Sul (1994) e doutorado em Psicologia pela Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio Grande do Sul (2005). Experiência como pesquisadora e consultora em projetos em Psicologia Social, principalmente nos temas: a condição humana, sociedade, comida, representações sociais, memória social, comunicação, teorias sociais críticas, ideologia e ética. Atualmente, estou interessada no conceito de esperança e nas suas expressões, no contexto da crise da modernidade. Minha pesquisa em andamento, intitulada "Música e Esperança", consiste na construção de narrativas visuais e de ensaios abordando como profissionais relacionados à música experimentam suas próprias histórias e na análise das relações destas com família, comunidade, sociedade e esperança. Realizei 176 projetos de pesquisa qualitativa e consultoria em âmbito nacional. Membro do Grupo de Pesquisa Ideologia, Comunicação e Representações Sociais desde 1990 (na linha de pesquisa Teorias e Práticas Psicossociais e Culturais Críticas), inscrito no CNPq, vice-líder deste grupo desde 2016 junto com o coordenador Dr. Pedrinho Arcides Guareschi, na UFRGS. Fundadora e integrante do Núcleo de Pesquisa e Estudo Encontros em Psicologia Social Crítica: Reflexões Dialógicas, coordenado também pelo Dr. Pedrinho Arcides Guareschi. Membro do Grupo de Estudos e Pesquisas em Alimentação e Cultura (GEPAC) coordenado pela Dra. Renata Menasche, na UFPel. Diversos artigos e capítulos publicados, autora do livro Psicologia Social da Comida, na Coleção Psicologia Social, da Editora Vozes (2014), co-organizadora e autora no livro Psicologia, Comunicação e Pós-verdade, da Editora ABRAPSO (2017). Colaboração no TEDxLaçadorSalon - Alimentando o futuro, com a palestra Três Comidas e o Amor (2014). Revisora de periódicos acadêmicos. Participação em bancas de dissertações de mestrado. A arte sempre esteve presente em minha vida na forma de música ou fotografia.
