Rogério Pereira dos Santos

Dramaturgo, roteirista, cenógrafo, artista visual. Em 1991, ingressa na Escola de Comunicações e Artes da Universidade de São Paulo (ECA-USP) onde estuda gravura com Evandro Jardim e Regina Silveira, escultura com Ana Maria Tavares e história da arte com Tadeu Chiarelli e Annateresa Fabris. Em 1996, gradua-se bacharel em Artes Plásticas e desenvolve atividade crítica junto de diferentes meios de comunicação. Participa do Curso Abril de Jornalismo, atua como repórter e editor de cultura, redator publicitário, roteirista, cenógrafo e planejador criativo em agências de publicidade. Em 2015, retoma estudos acadêmicos, com ênfase em interpretação cinematográfica, durante o mestrado do Programa de Pós-Graduação em Educação, Arte e História da Cultura (PPGEAHC) da Universidade Mackenzie sob as orientações de Marcia Tiburi e Regina Lara S. Mello. Com a peça eumenosdeus, integra o grupo de novos autores do Núcleo de Dramaturgia do Sesi-British Council. Em 2018, inicia o doutorado em direção de arte com tese intitulada Dramaturgia da Visualidade: O Sentido Narrativo na Direção de Arte.

Playwright, screenwriter, set designer and visual artist. In 1991, he entered the School of Communications and Arts at the University of São Paulo (ECA-USP) where he studied engraving with Evandro Jardim and Regina Silveira, sculpture with Ana Maria Tavares and art history with Tadeu Chiarelli and Annateresa Fabris. In 1996, he graduated in Fine Arts and developed critical activity with different media. He participated in the Abril Journalism Course, acted as a reporter and cultural editor, copywriter, screenwriter, set designer and creative planner in advertising agencies. In 2015, he resumed academic studies, with an emphasis on cinematographic interpretation, during the master's degree in the Program in Education, Art and History of Culture (PPGEAHC) at Mackenzie University under the guidance of Marcia Tiburi and Regina Lara S. Mello. With the play iminusgod, he integrated the group of new authors of the Dramaturgy Nucleus of the Sesi-British Council. In 2018, he began his PhD in production design with a thesis entitled Visual Dramaturgy: The Narrative Sense in Art Direction.
