Possui doutorado em Ciências do Desporto pela Faculdade de Desporto da Universidade do Porto (2007). Tem experiência na área de Educação Física, com ênfase em Educação Física, Direito, Politicas Desportivas e Desporto e Gênero
I am Professor at Faculty of Sport from University of Porto.
I earned a Ph.D. in Sports Science (2007), a Master degree in Sport Management (2001) and Graduation in Physical Education from University of Porto (1988) and a Graduation in in Law - University Lusíada, Porto (1997).
During the last ten years I have been involved in the Graduation, Masters and Ph.D. courses in Sports Management, Sports Law, Sports Politics and Entrepreneurship, Project Development Organization and Sports.
In the same period, I participated in more than 100 lectures in Portugal and different countries, and I have been involved in three main research areas: sports management; sports law and sports policies and I have published 4 books, several book chapters and numerous articles on national and international journals (with and without scientific Arbitration) in the field of Sports Management, Sports Law, Sport Policies and Women and Sport.
Since 2010 I am a disciplinary judge (Disciplinary Board) of the Portuguese Football Federation
Actually I am the Director of the Master in Sports Management - Faculty of Sport, University of Porto.
