Geanderson Araujo Carvalho

He holds a degree in natural sciences with a qualification in physics from the University of the State of Pará (2013), a master's and doctorate in physics from the Technological Institute of Aeronautics with a sandwich period at the University of Rome La Sapienza and the International Center for Relativistic Astrophysics Network (ICRANet). He carried out a post-doctoral internship at the University of Vale do Paraíba in the area of #8203;#8203;astrochemistry and simulation of the chemical evolution of astrophysical ices irradiated by sources of ionizing radiation. He currently works as an Adjunct Professor in Class A at the Federal Technological University of Paraná, Medianeira campus. He is leader of the research group in relativistic astrophysics and astrochemistry at UTFPR and participates in the PPGFA at UTFPR campus Curitiba. He also participates in the NAPI project ''extreme phenomena in the universe'' funded by the Araucária foundation and brings together researchers from Paraná, Brazil and abroad. Has experience in physics, with emphasis on theoretical astrophysics, working mainly on the following topics: compact stars, gravitational waves, binary systems, modified theories of gravity and astrochemistry.

Possui licenciatura em ciências naturais com habilitação em física pela Universidade do Estado do Pará (2013), mestrado e doutorado em física pelo Instituto Tecnológico de Aeronáutica com período sanduíche na Universidade de Roma La Sapienza e International Center for Relativistic Astrophysics Network (ICRANet). Realizou estágio pós-doutoral na Universidade do Vale do Paraíba na área de astroquímica e simulação da evolução química de gelos astrofísicos irradiados por fontes de radiação ionizante. Atualmente atua como professor Adjunto A classe A da Universidade Tecnológica Federal do Paraná campus Medianeira. É líder do grupo de pesquisa em astrofísica relativística e astroquímica da UTFPR e participa do PPGFA da UTFPR campus Curitiba. Participa também do projeto NAPI ''fenômenos extremos no universo'' financiado pela fundação Araucária e reúne pesquisadores do Paraná, Brasil e exterior. Tem experiência na área de física, com ênfase em astrofísica teórica, atuando principalmente nos seguintes temas: estrelas compactas, ondas gravitacionais, sistemas binários, teorias modificadas de gravidade e astroquímica.
