Daniela Arnold Tisot

Agronomist with a Masters Degree in Plant Production at the Escola Superior de Agricultura Luiz de Queiroz - ESALQ / USP (2002). PhD at the National Institute for Space Research - INPE with thesis in hyperspectral remote sensing and radiative transfer models (SAILH and PROSPECT) applied in the modeling of spatial variability of biochemical components of agricultural crops (2009). From 2007 to 2008 she worked as a visiting researcher at the University of California (UCSB - USA) where she worked with the groups of the NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory - NASA / JPL and Center for Spatial Technologies and Remote Sensing - CSTARS in spectroscopy applications from hyperspectral orbital sensor (Hyperion - EO1). In 2013, she joined the teaching staff of the Federal University of Pelotas (UFPel), acting as Coordinator of the Geoprocessing Course from 2014 to 2017 and, from 2017 to 2019, as Assistant Coordinator of the same Course. Currently, he works as a teacher in Geoprocessing, Agricultural Engineering and Production Engineering Courses at the Engineering Center (CEng / UPel), teaching disciplines in the areas of Entrepreneurship, Remote Sensing and Digital Processing of Satellite Images.

Agrônoma (UPF, 1998) com mestrado em Produção Vegetal pela Escola Superior de Agricultura Luiz de Queiroz - ESALQ/USP (2002). Doutora pelo Instituto Nacional de Pesquisas Espaciais - INPE (2009) com tese em sensoriamento remoto hiperespectral e modelos de transferência de radiação (SAILH e PROSPECT) aplicados na modelagem da variabilidade espacial de componentes bioquímicos de culturas agrícolas. De 2007 a 2008, atuou como pesquisadora visitante na Universidade da Califórnia (UCSB - EUA) onde trabalhou com os grupos Jet Propulsion Laboratory da NASA - NASA/JPL e Center for Spatial Technologies and Remote Sensing - CSTARS em aplicações de espectroscopia por sensores hiperespectrais orbitais (Hyperion ? EO1). Em 2013, ingressou no quadro efetivo docente da Universidade Federal de Pelotas (UFPel), atuando como Coordenadora do Curso de Geoprocessamento de 2014 a 2017 e, de 2017 a 2019, como Coordenadora-Adjunta do mesmo Curso. Atualmente, atua como docente nos Cursos de Geoprocessamento, Engenharia Agrícola e Engenharia de Produção do Centro de Engenharias (CEng/UPel), ministrando disciplinas nas áreas de Empreendedorismo, Sensoriamento Remoto e Processamento Digital de Imagens de Satélites.
