Vicente Luiz Naves

Vicente Luiz Naves is an accomplished professional with a diverse background in agronomy, botany, education, and translation. He obtained his bachelor's degree in Agronomic Engineering from the Universidade Federal de Lavras in 1989, and later completed his PhD in Agronomy/Plant Physiology from the same university in 2018. Throughout his career, Naves has focused on various areas within botany, with a specialization in Plant Physiology. His research interests encompass subjects such as abiotic stress, modeling, time series analysis, ecophysiology of production, biochemistry, gas exchange, and the cultivation of coffee crops. This expertise allows him to study and understand the effects of environmental factors on plant growth and development. In addition to his academic pursuits, Naves also held a significant role as the Director of a language teaching franchise from 1993 to 2014. During this period, he successfully managed both the pedagogical and administrative aspects of the company. This experience showcases his ability to lead and coordinate teams while ensuring the effective delivery of educational services. Currently, Naves extends his linguistic skills as a translator for Trindade Monografia & Edições, a company managed by Luciene de Oliveira R. Trindade.
