I am a clinical psychologist, graduated at the Catholic University of Pernambuco and lauded both the degree and in the Bachelor. Completing the course was selected for a 1 year stage (1997-1998) in France, the École expérimentale Bonneuil-Sur-Marne with children and adolescents suffering from mental problems, especially psychosis, autism and severe neuroses. In this institution, coordinated therapeutic workshops with team members, participated in clinical meetings, study groups, etc. At that time also I began to participate as a listener, Seminars in Psychoanalysis and Sociology at the Ecole des Hautes Etudes in Ciences Sociales in Paris. Despite having no link with the institution, it was through these conferences that I was waking up to the area of Social Sciences. My interest was so great that I have elaborated a project for Master in Social Psychology, but how to get no funding, I returned to Brazil. As soon as I arrived, I was called to work in a clinic with drogodependentes - The Reef Institute of Integral Attention to Dependencies (Raid Institute), which was from 1999 to 2002. I picked patients who used alcohol and other drugs. My job was to monitor cases, coordinate groups, serve patients, guiding their families, etc. Despite me deeper and deeper in psychoanalytic theory applied to the clinic, with the experience I had had in different institutions I felt that psychoanalysis was not enough to answer some questions troubling me, ie I understand the symptom as a psychic manifestations of the disease, but the way that each expressed the symptom was cultural. I made the selection and was approved at the Masters in Anthropology from UFPE in 2000, some time after I was awarded a research grant. At that time, I linked me to two research laboratories: The Family, Gender and Sexuality (FAGES), and the LSPR (Contemporary Culture Laboratory). Completing the Master, made the selection for PhD, I got a scholarship and I was part of field research in Spain, vincluada the University of Salamanca, where I made another PhD. In 2004 I spent a competition for a substitute teacher in psychology at the Federal University of Pernambuco. At the same time I was called to introduce myself in Psychosocial Support Center (CAPS) in the city of Recife, where I had given competition the previous year. As the position of substitute teacher was temporary, I opted for CAPS. Since late 2011 make a Postdoctoral at university, funded by Capes, where I have researched the history of Brazilian anthropology, notably Pernambuco. Throughout the research period, it was possible to understand that the first anthropologists of Pernambuco were, mostly, doctors- psychiatrists. Then a study was developed, which will become article about some intellectuals of the time and the relationship between psychiatry and social sciences. Given that part of the documentary research was carried out in São Paulo, I approached the Interdisciplinary Study Center for the History of Psychology, linked to the Social Psychology Laboratory at PUC - SP, aiming to develop future research, about the Mental Health Services SP of the 1920s and 1930s, trying to establish a comparative analysis between São Paulo and Pernambuco context. I have publications and experience in teaching at university and private colleges. Also participated stalls and supervised monographs and dissertations.
