Graduado em Medicina pela Universidade Federal do Triângulo Mineiro. Especialista em Mastologia com ênfase em reconstrução mamária. Doutorado e Pós-Doutorado pelo Departamento de Ginecologia, Obstetricia e Mastologia da UNESP - Universidade Estadual Paulista. Ex-fellow da Divisão de Cirurgia Plástica Reconstrutora do Instituto Europeu de Oncologia. Fundador da "Breast Unit Barretos- BUB", ex-coordenador e médico titular do Departamento de Mastologia e Reconstrução e também ex-coordenador do Centro de Treinamento em Cirurgia Oncoplástica e do Ambulatório da Mulher do Hospital de Câncer de Barretos. Premiado pelo AVON Foudation com scholarship na Baylor College of Medicine. Co- diretor da "School of Oncoplastic Surgery" - SOS. Médico associado do Hospital Albert Einstein. Contribuiu ativamente para a criação do simulador cirúrgico Mastotrainer. Professor visitante convidado pelo Departamento de Cirurgia Mamária Oncológica da Universidade do Texas MD Anderson School of Oncology, Houston -Texas. Demonstra interesse especial em pesquisas clínicas e promoção da atenção humanizada e centrada no paciente oncológico. Possui extensa lista de artigos científicos, capítulos de livros, quatro livros publicados e um APP. Possui participação ativa com transmissão de conhecimentos em mídias sociais. Eleito membro titular da Academia Brasileira de Mastologia. Eleito membro titular da Academia Brasileira de Mastologia - cadeira 49. Atualmente coordena a clínica Mulher&Saúde e encontra-se dedicado a clínica privada Mamare, focado em um tratamento transdisciplinar e qualidade de vida e também coordenando o Departamento de Cirurgia Oncológica e o Centro de Treinamento em Oncoplástica Mamária do Hospital NovaBene em Ribeirão Preto.

It has an extensive list of scientific articles, book chapters, four published books and an APP. It has active participation with transmission of knowledge in social media. Elected full member of the Brazilian Academy of Mastology. He currently coordinates the Mulher&Saúde clinic and is dedicated to the private Mamare clinic, focused on transdisciplinary treatment and quality of life and also coordinating the Oncologic Surgery Department and the Breast Oncoplastic Training Center at NovaBene Hospital in Ribeirão Preto.
