Richard Kramer

Possui mestrado em Física - Rheinisch-Westfalischen Technischen Hochschule/Aachen (1972) e doutorado em Institut Fuer Reaktortechnik - Technische Universität München (1978). Atualmente é pesquisador da Universidade Federal de Pernambuco. Tem experiência na área de Física, com ênfase em Espectros Moleculares e Interações de Fótons com Moléculas, atuando principalmente nos seguintes temas: monte carlo methods, computational phantoms, proteção radiológica, fantomas de corpo humano e radioproteção.Richard Kramer é arbitro para as revistas Health Physics, Physics in Medicine and Biology, Medical Physics, Nuclear Technology, Proceeding of the IEEE, Nuclear Instruments and Methods B, Radiologia Brasileira, Revista Brasileira de Física Médica. Ele é o autor principal do software CALDose_X e CALDose_X online, disponíveis no site www.caldose.org.

He has experience in radiation physics and dosimetry. Richard Kramer is reviewer for the journals Health Physics, Physics in Medicine and Biology, Medical Physics, Nuclear Technology, Proceeding of the IEEE, Nuclear Instruments and Methods B, Radiologia Brasileira and he is a researcher at the Universidade Federal de Pernambuco. Richard Kramer is author of CALDose_X online, a software which determines organ and tissue absorbed doses in patients submitted to radiographic examinations based on real time Monte Carlo calculations via the Internet.
