Walmeran Jose Trindade Junior

Graduated in ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING from the Federal University of Campina Grande (1991), Master in Electrical Engineering from the Federal University of Campina Grande (1994) and Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the Federal University of Campina Grande (2001). Specialist in Planning and Management of Teaching-Learning (2006), in Work Safety Engineering (2018), in Public Management (2019) and in Project Management and Social Business (2020). He is currently a professor at the Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of Paraíba, João Pessoa campus, in the field of Electrotechnics (technical courses and bachelor's degree in electrical engineering). He has experience in the field of Electrical Engineering, with an emphasis on Electrotechnics, working mainly on the following topics: renewable energies, distributed generation with photovoltaic and wind technology, energy efficiency, energy management, public management, social business management, popular energy transition, technological education popular.

Possui graduação em ENGENHARIA ELÉTRICA pela Universidade Federal de Campina Grande (1991), mestrado em Engenharia Elétrica pela Universidade Federal de Campina Grande (1994) e doutorado em Engenharia Elétrica pela Universidade Federal de Campina Grande (2001). Especialista de Planejamento e gestão do ensino-aprendizagem (2006), em Engenharia de segurança do trabalho (2018), em Gestão pública (2019) e em Gestão de projetos e negócios sociais (2020). Atualmente é professor titular do Instituto Federal de Educação, Ciência e Tecnologia da Paraíba, campus João Pessoa, na área de Eletrotécnica (cursos técnicos e bacharelado em Engenharia elétrica). Tem experiência na área de Engenharia Elétrica, com ênfase em Eletrotécnica, atuando principalmente nos seguintes temas: energias renováveis, geração distribuída com tecnologia fotovoltaica e eólica, eficiência energética, gestão energética, gestão pública, gestão de negócios sociais, transição energética popular, educação tecnológica popular. É colaborador voluntário do coletivo Comitê de Energia Renovável do Semiárido (CERSA) desde 2015, elaborando projetos sociais envolvendo microgeração de energia elétrica com tecnologia fotovoltaica.
