Dra Mônica Santos Salgado

Monica Santos Salgado is a Full Professor at FAU UFRJ, member of the Permanent Body of the Graduate Program in Architecture at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ/PROARQ). Scientist of Our State FAPERJ (since 2021) and CNPq Researcher (since 2011). Visiting Professor at Parsons School of Design, USA (CAPES PRINT-2020 scholarship). With postdoctoral research developed at the École Nationale Superieure dArchitecture in Toulouse-France (ENSAT-2010); PhD in Production Engineering at COPPE - UFRJ (1993/1996). Master in Architecture at PROARQ FAU UFRJ (1990/1992), Graduate in Occupational Safety Engineering at POLIUFRJ (2000-2002), Graduate in Environmental Management at POLIUFRJ (2004-2005) and Graduate in Architecture at FAU UFRJ (1981/1986). Coordinator of the Postgraduate Program in Architecture (2016 to 2019) period in which the Program received a score of 6 at CAPES; Member of the Superior Council of UFRJ (CONSUNI) representing the professors of the Center for Letters and Arts (2015 to 2019); Exchange Coordinator at FAU UFRJ (2014 to 2015); Member of the Postgraduate and Research Council (CEPG) at UFRJ (2008 to 2012); Active Professor at the Faculty of Architecture and Urbanism (2005 to 2021); Active Professor at Politechnich School in the Civil Engineering Undergraduate Course at UFRJ (1993 to 2005) and Coordinator of the Civil Engineering Undergraduate Course of UFRJ (2000 to 2002). Since 1996, is the leader of the GEPARQ-Research Group registered at CNPq Project Management in Architecture: technology, sustainability and BIM. Member of the Editorial Board of the journal Gestão e Tecnologia de Projetos. Reviwer of the journals Architectural Engineering and Design Management, World Journal of Entrepreneurship, Management and Sustainable Development, Ambiente Construído Magazine ANTAC, Brazilian Magazine of Urban Management, Magazine OCULUM Ensaios PUC Campinas, Magazine PROJETAR - Project and Perception of the Environment, Magazine Management Technology of Projects and Cadernos PROARQ, also acting in as reviwer of projects submitted to development agencies - CAPES, CNPq, FAPESP and FAPEMIG.

Monica Santos Salgado é professora Titular pela FAU UFRJ, membro do Corpo Permanente do Programa de Pós-Graduação em Arquitetura da Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ/PROARQ). Cientista do Nosso Estado FAPERJ (desde 2021) e Pesquisadora do CNPq (desde 2011). Realizou Pós-Doutorado na École Nationale Superiéure dArchitecture de Toulouse - França e atuou como Professora visitante na Parsons School of Design em Nova York - EUA; Realizou Doutorado em Engenharia de Produção na COPPE - UFRJ (1993/1996). Mestrado em Arquitetura no PROARQ FAU UFRJ (1990/1992), Pós-Graduação em Engenharia de Segurança do Trabalho na POLIUFRJ (2000-2002), Pós-Graduação em Gestão Ambiental na POLIUFRJ (2004-2005) e graduação em Arquitetura na FAU UFRJ (1981/1986). Foi coordenadora do Programa de Pós-Graduação em Arquitetura (2016 a 2019) período que o Programa conquistou a nota 6 na CAPES; Membro do Conselho Superior da UFRJ (CONSUNI) representando os professores titulares do Centro de Letras e Artes (2015 a 2019); Coordenadora de Intercâmbio da FAU UFRJ (2014 a 2015); Membro do Conselho de Pós-Graduação e Pesquisa (CEPG) da UFRJ (2008 a 2012); Docente do Quadro Ativo da Faculdade de Arquitetura e Urbanismo (2005 a 2021); Docente do Quadro ativo da Escola Politécnica no Curso de Engenharia Civil da UFRJ (1993 a 2005) e Coordenadora do Curso de Graduação em Engenharia Civil (2000 a 2002). Desde 1996, é líder do GEPARQ - Grupo de Pesquisa cadastrado no CNPq Gestão de Projetos em Arquitetura: tecnologia, sustentabilidade e BIM. Participa do Conselho Editorial da revista Gestão e Tecnologia de Projetos. É avaliadora dos periódicos Architectural Engineering and Design Management, World Journal of Entrepreneurship, Management and Sustainable Development, Revista Ambiente Construído ANTAC, Revista Brasileira de Gestão Urbana, Revista OCULUM Ensaios PUC Campinas, Revista PROJETAR - Projeto e Percepção do Ambiente, Revista Gestão Tecnologia de Projetos e Cadernos PROARQ, atuando também na avaliação de projetos submetidos aos órgãos de fomento - CAPES, CNPq, FAPESP e FAPEMIG.
