Dr. Gustavo Zanotto is originally from Curitiba, Brazil, where he graduated in Veterinary Medicine at Universidade Federal do Paraná in 2007. Gustavo then moved to São Paulo where he completed a residency in large animal internal medicine and surgery and received a master?s degree in veterinary surgery at São Paulo University. In August 2013, Gustavo moved to Colorado where he completed an internship on equine musculoskeletal imaging, a residency on equine sport medicine and rehabilitation and a PhD. Currently Gustavo is a Clinical Assistant Professor at Texas A&M University and actively participates in research carried out in Brazil, as in the Equiscience research group, which has been a part since 2021. His research interests are diagnostic, imaging, therapeutic approach and rehabilitation of musculoskeletal injuries in sport horses.
